It’s been a long time coming. Sitting in the ballroom on Monday listening to a faculty give us exciting news about graduation was a surreal experience. I can’t wait till the day (in precisely 3 months) when I get to put on my Doctor of Pharmacy hat (an equivalent of a Ph.D) and proudly walk down the aisle with my family and friends garbed in aseobi (an African print), jubilating and shouting unanimously in excitement. At 23, I will be the youngest graduating Pharm.D. candidate of 2014, but 6 years has been no joke and has very much felt like eternity.
Now that you know the scenario currently playing on repeat in my head, let’s focus on my outfit. I wore this attire a couple or so weeks ago in Laramie when the weather was nice. I fell in love with this skirt a few posts ago (HERE) and couldn’t resist the temptation to get it in a different color. Full midi skirts/dresses (also seen HERE) are my current obsession and a brand name skirt is selling for well over $200 so when I found this skirt from Choies.com for $21, waiting almost 25 days for its arrival was well worth the price. Would you invest the fortune ($200) or would you rather ‘invest’ the time in waiting for this Fine China to arrive from Asia? Leave your comment below. As always, thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll be in touch with you soon.

  1. Love the accessories on this post! I wish I can find a midi skirt that fits me without altering it ? bc of my “short people problems” I don’t buy them too often. Im 5 foot even.

  2. Wow, I love this pink statement skirt. It could so easily have been made to look over the top, but you keep it so chic and classy!

I am following your blog, it would be great if you could check out mine too ๐Ÿ™‚
