Pre-graduation photoshoot thanks to D3zcreative

You may have read my very first post where I wrote about my reality check in the first year of pharmacy school. Now, I can gladly say that I achieved my goal of becoming a Doctor of Pharmacy. It was a pleasure to be surrounded my loved ones and friends who flew from around the US, St. Kitts, Canada and of course Nigeria just to be by my side – never underestimate the influence of a large family! Now off to bigger & greater things ๐Ÿ™‚
Several months before graduation, I had my mind made up on wearing this zara satin court shoe and went as far as ordering it from Canada (because it was sold out online there is no zara store in my area) in a size smaller (because that was all they had). I expanded the pumps and had it ready for graduation and was shortly after informed that heels could not be worn in the graduation hall!! All I wanted to do was scream but I found a way around it – wear my pumps after the ceremony outside the graduation hall.
I know my friends were expecting me to go over the top with my graduation outfit but I chose to keep it simple, neutral, and chic. I paired this asos pencil skirt (the fabric is impeccable!) with a long sleeve bodysuit (best way to prevent ruffled lines with tucked-in tops) and an old beaded clutch. As always, thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll be in touch with you soon.
