Hi gorgeous! Welcome to yet another month of 10 days wearing clothes purchased on Amazon Fashion. You would never think that you could score some amazing pieces from Amazon.
All of these looks are styled on Amazon Spark, Amazon’s social platform to discover ideas, products and experiences from people who share your interest. If you’re reading this post, chances are you already like me, or at what I have to say. You can find me on Spark here.
This Amazon Spark roundup features a mix of 10 of my looks wearing Amazon Fashion. You can find previous Amazon Spark Roundup here. I like to share curated content on my Instagram profile and reserve Amazon Spark for my day-to-day looks. So a lot of these looks are mirror selfies 😉
I love how easy it is to interact with the community on Amazon. For example, I was trying to make a decision between two blanket scarves (pictured below). I took a poll on Spark and whopping 538 people helped me decide on which one to get. Unless you have a ridiculous engaged following (think celebrity status) on Instagram, you won’t get this kind of feedback on Instagram.
Also, you can shop every single style straight from my Amazon Shop located on the Shop tab above. I also share some items that I’m interested in or recently purchased. I recently started working out more consistently so you’ll see some of my favorite fitness pieces like this yoga pants with cellphone pockets. And this African print skirt I recently purchased from Amazon. You’d never think that Amazon would be a good place to look for African print.
That said, my Spark looks show you what I do wear most of the time from work pants, denim, African prints, blouses, lots of flats, sweaters and practical heels. I want to keep you inspired (so you keep coming back) and real so you know it’s not always glitter and a full face of makeup around here 🙂
10 DAYS WEARING CLOTHES FROM AMAZON FASHION
#1: YELLOW SWEATER AND PLAID BLANKET SCARF SPRING LOOK
This was probably one of my favorite outfits from this 10-day series. I had recruited the help of the Spark community to help me decide between this blanket scarf and this similar version. With a solid 335 votes for this blanket scarf compared to 203 for the other, it was a no-brainer.
The blanket scarf is a steal at under $15! It is even better than I expected and the size is pretty generous. I’ve had so much fun styling the scarf in several different ways. Stay tuned for a post on 5 unique ways to dress up your outfit this year with a blanket scarf.
My yellow sweater is also from Amazon and is one of my favorite purchases from 2o17. My denim is an oldie and so is my ballet flats. Both are sold out but I’ve linked similar options below.
#2: OLIVE PEEK-A-BOO DRESSED-UP CASUAL SWEATER OUTFIT
Totally obsessed with this peek-a-boo sweater. I was a little skeptical about getting it just from reading the reviews on Amazon. With Amazon Prime you’re eligible for free returns. While I love having this option, I don’t want to deal with returning an item. Anyways, I took the plunge because I wanted an olive sweater and loved the unique fitted style.
There are several different styles listed on this Amazon product page (something to be aware of). The sweater has a fitted appeal so if you want something a little more loose-fitted, I suggest sizing up. I’m impressed with the style, quality and fit of this under $15 top. Highly recommended!
However, the color of the sweater is a little lighter than pictured. I paired it with a high-waisted fitted stone-washed denim (similar). I cuffed the denim on the hem for a cleaner look. Then threw on one of my favorite pairs of shoes by Steve Madden (similar pair tagged below).
#3: BLUE-BLACK COZIED UP KITTEN HEELS OUTFIT
And here’s this blue and black pants… again. I swear I’ve been wearing it on repeat. On days when I just want a comfy look without dealing with the zip and buttons on denim, I reach for pants like this.
On this day, we were expecting a weather low of -20ºF. You’ll agree with me that it wasn’t a day to be excited about. I wanted a vibrant look to brighten the day. I threw on this matching beanie and infinity-scarf combo. For my top, I went for a lightweight turtleneck sweater (also one of the clothes from Amazon Fashion). Then a pair of kitten heels with bow details I bought from Zara years ago.
My C.C insulated hat and infinity scarf combo are available in different colors. They are super soft. My turtleneck sweater feels more like a turtleneck summer shirt. It is very light and super long. If you’re going for the scrunched up look or have a long torso, you’d love this shirt. It could almost pass for an ultra-mini dress (haha!).
#4: GRAY DAY, RED DAY CARDIGAN WITH BOW HEELS
A month or so ago, I spotted a friend wearing a chic drape cardigan. I loved the semi-fitted concept post-holiday celebrations. Since I don’t have a lot of layering pieces, I decided to add one to my wardrobe.
I found lots of options on Amazon fashion but ultimately settled on this cardigan. In part due to the amazing reviews, the color options, and lightweight design. You know I love colors but sometimes I gravitate towards plain and neutral colors.
When a friend pointed out that I’d been wearing more neutrals than usual I giggled a little. Keeping her comment in mind, I chose to mix a pop of red in this look. Gray is not typically a color you see commonly combined with red, so I did just that 🙂
This look would be perfect for an evening out with the boo or girlfriends. This entire outfit – sweater, cardigan, plaid pants, and bow pumps are available on Amazon. I purchased the bow pumps years ago but found an exact match on Amazon fashion, which I’ve linked below for you.
#5: SKINNY FAUX SCARF SIMPLE OUTFIT
Every day is not a dressed-up kinda day. It was a little chilly on this day. All I did was throw on clothes from Amazon mixed in with a suede knee-high boots with gold trims and a long-skinny faux scarf.
I literally had a few minutes to put this look together before heading out the door. Although the soft wrap-around sweater with ruched detail is very flattering, it’s not the best-designed top I own. If you have a fuller chest, you might run into issues getting the wrap-over fabric around the chest to fit just right.
I realized that my skinny scarf was neither solid black or blue but instead squares of black and dark blue stacked side-by-side throughout. The dark blue pants is super high-waisted (past my belly button). Usually, this is not a cut that I like but the fit and stretch made this pants a keeper.
#6: MIXING STRIPES DRESSY OUTFIT
This outfit is actually a take two on this cold shoulder top. I had previously styled this off-shoulder top as a simple boat-neck look in my Amazon Fashion series. Stripes can be slimming if worn properly.
Intrigued by the idea of mixing stripes, I chose to pair this striped top with a pair of striped pink slingback sandals. I definitely like how this outfit turned out. I’m obsessed with the idea of making affordable pieces look expensive.
The fitted striped top costs $16, denim $39.99 (sold out), slingback heels $39.99, and my choker necklace on sale for $30 from $120 (also one of my favorite statement jewelry). The total cost of this outfit? Less than $130!
#7: GREEN SWEATER AND TAN WORK PANTS
And here’s the same blanket scarf again 😊 tied in a completely different way this time around. For a simple look with clean lines, I opted for this scalloped neck sweater and fitted tan pants. The pleated center hem on the pants is a unique touch that, I think, distinguishes it from a basic pair of pants.
However, this high-rise pants runs large so I suggest sizing down if you decide to get it. To bring the entire look together, I chose to rock my plaid blanket scarf. The scarf conveniently has all the central colors of my outfit which made it the perfect accessory.
I noticed that the scallop sweater was on sale so I loaded up by getting 3 more colors. I just checked Amazon and there are a few pieces still available at the sale price. Be aware that the sleeves run short for those with longer arms. I like to scrunch mine up sometimes and I do kinda like the 3/4 appeal.
#8: LEATHER JACKET WORK OUTFIT
For this eighth look, I think more than anything I wanted to wear this leather jacket. You can’t really see the sweater I have on but it’s the same peek-a-boo sweater from #2 above. The shades in this outfit are not typically what I usually opt for but I guess we all have our days.
This leather jacket continues to be the softest genuine leather jacket I own. I ordered the jacket in a size small for more room to layer on other pieces.
#9: BLUE AND BURGUNDY CLASSIC OUTFIT
Retail therapy kinda day. Feeling the dark blues and deep red combination. Funny this pants was not a favorite of mine until I realized how comfortable it could be. The pants is super high-rise though so that threw me off a little bit.
The stretchy cotton fabric makes the pants hug in all the right places without feeling too tight/scratchy. I shared more about this look in this post about the Untuckit brand.
It was a particularly cold winter day when I shot this look. I just wasn’t feeling how cold it had been for the past few weeks. So my photographer and I snuck into a home improvement store to shoot this look. The glamorous side of being a fashion blogger #nonotreally.
Both my burgundy heels (from Gilt.com) and structured Zara bucket bag are a few years old. I’ve linked alternatives for you below.
#10: BLUE AND GOLD OUTFIT
This is how you fight the Monday blues! Just kidding. I love monochrome outfits and even have a Pinterest board dedicated to this monochromatic scheme. I often think about wearing one color looks but end up throwing on more colors by the time I’m ready to step out.
Since I now have more blue pieces in my wardrobe, I decided to put together this fun blue and gold outfit. Yes, it’s not completely blue but it is the best mostly blue, at least for now, outfit that I felt confident wearing. The skirt is at least 3 years old from Asos but I found a couple pink versions on Amazon.
The gold belt is also a favorite from Asos which has since sold out. Again, I found a similar option on Amazon. My blue turtleneck sweater is the same blue top from outfit #3 above. The only difference is that I tucked it in. Lastly, we have a wardrobe staple: a blue/gold pumps that I’ve since before moving to Alaska!💙🌟
You can find all my recent Amazon Fashion purchases on my Amazon Shop page. I also provide commentary on fitting as I wear them. And you can find me on Amazon Spark 😉 I am very satisfied with the offerings, quality, and price-points of clothing sold on Amazon Fashion. Have a wonderful month!
And it’s a wrap! You can find previous 10 days of styling clothes from Amazon Fashion right here. I never knew that Amazon had so many amazing pieces. I hope to share more Amazon Fashion finds with you. As always, thanks for reading!
