Hey guys, I’m sharing this $17 budget crisscross v-neck top and loafers outfit with you today. My loafers was a score (I bought two pairs) during the 2018 NSALE. And I just realized that Nordstrom just recently stocked a very similar style.

Spring is here and so is summer. I’ve been in Dallas, Texas since Tuesday for my first ever blogger conference. The energy, vibes, connections, and networking opportunities have been beyond my wildest expectations. I’ll share more about the rewardStyle Conference #rsthecon in an upcoming post.
The move from Alaska to New Jersey has definitely been an eye-opener. The weather, proximity to New York, and less expensive plane tickets have made life as a blogger more conducive (and enjoyable).
Anyways, if you follow me on Instagram or on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app, you’ve already seen and probably already scooped up or two of this crisscross v neck top (also comes in short sleeves). Although I was not actively searching for a casual blue shirt, this criss-cross top stood out to me during my [I-hate-to-admit] routine perusal of Amazon Fashion.
I was quite intrigued to see what looked like an everyday shirt accumulate over 600 4-star positive reviews. And since I can’t pass up a good deal that goes well with the rest of my closet, I added one to my cart.
I figured the crisscross v neck top could always be returned back since Amazon offers free and return if I did not love it. This particular shirt comes in 25 different options. The two-tone ombre blouse is giving me super cool vibes right now.
This v neck top was not entirely a “love at first sight” piece because I was not sure about the length of the sleeve. But by the second try, I was definitely digging the style, fit, and fabric. I even have the same crisscross v neck detail as a $17 dress.
I’m wearing a size small, which is true to size and sizing goes up to XXL and ships free with Prime membership. Those with a longer torso might want to consider sizing up since the long sleeve top does not have extra fabric on the arm.
There are no zips or buttons to tinker with, and because the fabric is soft and stretchy, it’s super easy it wear it over your head. The blue color is rich and vibrant [perfect for summer].
If you’re more of an audio-visual person, you can watch my Amazon Fashion Haul try-on video. The bottom line is that I definitely recommend you get this inexpensive shirt.
When it comes to rocking a plain solid color shirt, the v-neck design, crisscross detail, and the u-shaped hem makes this blouse a winner. If you’re worried about summer heat waves, the short sleeve version is the perfect alternative to this lightweight shirt.
You won’t believe it, but it was actually a little chilly during the shoot. So I wore a thicker pair of denim. This is a high-waisted regular wash denim I bought from either ShoeDazzle or JustFab. Speaking of subscription membership, my JustFab review post should be up sometime this week.
I’ll be sharing all the juicy details (good, bad, and ugly) about JustFab to help you make a more informed decision about the JustFab reviews you’ve read online.
My bucket bag (similar) is also an oldie I wore in a fall style outfit from a few years ago. It features croc embossed faux leather with drawstring closure. It’s not surprising to see that a bag style I rocked in 2015 is still going strong in 2019. Although my exact bucket bag is no longer available, I found this leather bag to be a close look-alike.
Last and certainly not least is my soft suede loafer. I recently discovered that Nordstrom restocked almost the same style (suede vs. leather) recently, so I had to share it with you. I loved it so much that I ordered two different colors during last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
If you appreciate a well-cushioned shoe, you’d love this loafer. If you’ve worn a pair of UGG shoes, you already know that UGG does not mess around when it comes to arch support and cushioned insole.
One of the many benefits of this flat is that the minimalist style maximizes the versatility of this loafer. It also comes in seven summer-ready colors in suede or leather options!
It’s a little hard to see on some photos, but I threw on a set of large statement earrings (similar) and matching bracelets to break up the outfit. Statement earrings like this beaded earrings and this tassel earrings have a way of sprucing up a simple look. And tassel earrings are a “thing” this summer.
