In light of ThrowBackThursday, I decided to showcase some of my previous almost all-black outfits with you. I still remember public perception about a decade ago – in Nigeria – to an all-black look being reserved for those mourning the loss of a loved one. My mum would always tell my siblings to add a touch of color to their attire to prevent people from asking them the unsolicited question, “who died?” Times have changed and I’m glad it has because everyone should have the liberty to dress according to how they feel.
