Fashion Haul: Spring/Summer Fashion Haul 2015

Hello guys! It feels like ages since I last did a fashion haul video on my channel (see my last haul video). In this haul video, I have a lot of clothes, shoes, and even tech products to share with you. As my fashion blog continues to grow and evolve, I hope to bring you more and more content 🙂 As I fashion nova, I take delight scoring great deals both when I’m shopping in store or online. Without further ado, let’s get started with the haul.

OLD NAVY: Spring is very much here and summer is knocking on the door. I went all out at Old Navy stocking up on tons of sweaters and a couple of pants. I got a nude v-neck long sleeve top because it lightweight and form-fitting. It even goes perfectly with my nude pumps. Next, I chose a semi-turtleneck knitwear (similar) which has medium thickness great for transitioning from Sprint to Summer. A simple striped boat neck shirt with knit cuffs, a super-soft long sleeve shirt, a funnel neck relaxed fit sweater currently on sale for $5, a honeycomb knit sweater ($11). I addition, I got a patterned stretchy pixie crop pant and a pair of high-rise light wash flare pants. Get 35% off your order from Old Navy with code MAYSAVE.

15 DOLLAR STORE: First up from this store is my favorite pair of jeans, a flare jeans with dark wash featuring 35 inches inseam (similar) from Dylan George (see how I styled it here). Since everything thing from this store costs $15, I threw in another pair flare jeans with a lighter wash (similar) and a pair straight leg pants (similar) perfect for work.

FIRMOO:* I received pair of Firmoo triangle frame glasses for review. I have tried several of their glasses love not only the price point, but the variety (as seen in my previous posts here, here & here) and quality of glasses they offer. Shipping to the US is extremely fast and each glasses comes with a free hard protective spectacle case, an eyeglass bag and pieces of micro-fibre lens cloth. Right now, first time customers get 50% off  sitewide here.

ASOS: Asos is without a doubt one of my favorite online shopping store. I’m sure even the fashion police will agree that Asos has a limitless supply of great clothes, shoes, and accessories. It’s pretty much a fashion to figure store – tall, petite, plus size… I put my premier membership to great use when I scored this tapestry A-line skirt (similar) endowed with amble embellishments and sequins. I love midi dress and peplum/scuba details so it was only natural that this pencil dress (similar) called my name.

ZARA: Zara has excellent quality products. When Zara sales come along, I definitely stock up on a majority of the items I’ve been eyeing especially shoes, purses, and some clothes. I’m definitely looking to stock up on summer dresses, gladiator flats, and hats this time around. During the sales earlier this year, I missed out on this cut out ankle boots (similar). When I spotted it back on the site two weeks ago, I scooped up two sizes (sometimes sizing could be a little off so I err on the side of getting my actual size and a size smaller). I’m glad I did because it’s almost completely sold out and I ended up keeping the smaller size. Can’t wait to pair this with a crop pants or mini skirt.

FEATHER & BONE:* Feather and Bone was nice enough to send me these face gems to try out. It is a unique and authentic facial wash that works in 3 simple steps:
POP: pop one tablet and place in the palm of your hand
DROP: using your hand add 5-10 drops of water as needed and apply pressure on tablet to break to form a paste
and WASH: scoop paste from palm to massage/apply on full face and wash face
It’s a pretty cool way to have a cleanser, exfoliator, and moisturizer all in one pill.

ADVANTA SUPPLEMENT:* This product definitely works magic. I spent over $500 getting similar results at the dentists earlier this year. The whitening kit includes a teeth whitening tray, two 10cc syringes of teeth whitening solution (35% Carbamide Peroxide), a teeth whitening color chart, an on-the-go teeth whitening pen, and a lifetime exclusive access to teeth whitening solution whenever you need it all for $35!! I totally should have tried this first before spending the bank at my dental appointment. Did I mention that the whitening solution that the dentist used was the Philips Zoome white 22% Carbamide Peroxide? And it took 45 minutes for the entire process? With the Advanta whitening kit, I leave it on for 30 minutes at a time and only needed to do it twice to see a huge difference. The only downside to this product was that I got significant sensitivity when the product got on my gum (which I did not experience with the in-office treatment).

LIFE GUARD:* Loving the sleek design of this +Lifeguard mini 1 portable charger (numerous color options). It actually reminds me of a pink lipstick 🙂 It comes with a compatible Apple 5.9-inch lightning cable and a reliable 3000mAh grade A battery which will charge your phone from 0-100% with some left over juice. I haven’t had a need for it yet but I gave it a test ride with my phone and loved how quickly my phone charged up.

JUSTFAB/SHOEDAZZLE: “Uniqueness” is one thing I look for when scouting for a new pair of shoes (like I need more!). This edgy pump from JustFab features a shark tooth sole and a cool cutout top and contrasting material. When worn, the sole feels like it is made out of memory foam – comfort! For a limited time, new members on JustFab can get two pairs of shoes for $39.95. Sign up here.
You can never have too many [black] shoes right? Pointed toe, suede, and multiple straps just had it make it’s way to my closet. After all, the only other similar pair I own has chunky heels (excuses!). It appears that ShoeDazzle and JustFab have some friendly relationship as I purchased this JustFab knee-high sandals from the ShoeDazzle website and there are lots more items there (style previous here). Everything about a woven lace-up sandals in abstract print scream “unique” to me. Not surprisingly, this tie-up sandals from ShoeDazzle (similar) quickly sold out within days of coming in stock. Get 50% off your first purchase on ShoeDazzle here.

DSW: This BCBG studded pumps (similar) is my dream come true to the pricey Valentino rockstud pumps – anything for affordable fashion. I’m a fashionphile, a fashion nova, and to some extent, a fashion victim. I literally caught myself drooling over the Valentina pumps a couple of years ago but I could not justify the splurge. My wallet is happy and so are my feet 🙂

EVA LEATHER:* Eva Leather is was generous enough to send me this genuine leather bag for take on a spin. Watch the video and see the 3D on the bag. The Morgane shoulder bag is really lovely and beautifully crafted. Eva Leather is a China-based online store focused on selling designer-inspired handbags and small leather accessories at a very affordable price. I can’t wait to style a look centered on this purse (stay tuned). If you’re looking for a nice luxury purse for a fraction of the price, try out Eva Leather as they have tons of leather products.

LOUIS VUITTON: To mark a milestone in my career, I treated myself to a much needed backpack. My acquisition was this Louis Vuitton Michael backpack in damier graphite. You should totally watch me unbox the Louis Vuitton Michael backpack on the unboxing video on YouTube. Boy did I get a burst of adrenaline rush when I laid eyes on her 🙂 The Michael backpack has been my Monday to Friday companion since I received it and even accompanied me on my trip to Nigeria for my sister’s wedding.

COOSH:* This Coosh portable car charger is by far one of the most versatile car chargers I’ve ever used. The lightning cable and micro-usb makes it compatible with both Apple and Android devices. The charger can charge up to three electronics at the same time (now how crazy is that?). The coiled design and smart LED indicator takes it up a notch for me (not pictured).

This concludes this Spring/Summer fashion haul, and don’t forget to join me on YouTube for weekly videos. Love you loads for all your support. Until next time, bisous, a bientot and I’ll be in touch with you soon.
