FACT: Many of us know without a doubt that Alaska is the coldest state in the US with a record breaking -80*F (-62.2*C). But did you know that Wyoming, the least populated state in the U.S. is arguably the 5th most coldest state in the U.S.? WY has a coldest recorded temperature of -66*F (-54.4*C), which occurred in 1933. This Cowboy State has an average daily temperature of 26.2*F (-3.2*C). Wyoming is the only one of the 10 coldest states in the U.S. that does not share a border with Canada.
