How was your Memorial Day/weekend? I needed some fresh air (more like shopping therapy) so I hopped on a flight to Anchorage. After doing major damage to my credit card both online and in-store, I came home to four packages waiting at my doorstep! I know I’ve been a major slacker with The Scoop the last couple of months but it’s about time things change ๐Ÿ™‚ As per the usual, this post brings you the scoop of last month’s outfit post. So if you missed a few here and there, now’s the time to catch up (look who’s talking about catching up!).

April was met with warmer temperatures. How delighted I was to finally be able to bare some skin. Earlier in the month, the fashion victim in me wanted to appeal to my ‘princess in wonderland’ cravings. This desire was satisfied with look #1, which happens to be my favorite look from April (see how I achieved a similar look here, here, and here). The buzz from the fashion police was that mom denim was beginning to gain momentum. Not wanting to be left behind, I added a little pizazz to my mom denim outfit, look #2 with a fur puff purse/hand-warmer. For a more traditional/staple look, I combined complimentary colors from the color wheel to create look #3 (see another slit skirt alternative in this post). You can never go wrong with lace up sandals and slit skirt!

It’s your turn. Which look is your favorite from my April outfits? Don’t forget to drop a comment below! You can view previous months’ recap HERE and checkout my LOOKBOOK to get some styling inspirations.  As always, thank you so much for stopping by!
