If there is one thing that growing up in Nigeria taught me, it is the importance of keeping my skin moisturized all day long. So, today I am super excited to share this Gold Bond Ultimate® Radiance Renewal® review with you. You can save now on all of these products with this coupon.
Cracked, ashy skin is no fun! I mean, you don’t need a soothsayer to tell you that. But when you live in Alaska or in a super dry environment, it can be particularly hard finding a product that over delivers when it comes to richly hydrating your skin.
Why am I sharing this with you?
Well, there is a very good chance that I’ll be going back to Alaska for a few more months. And guess what? I’ll be in Alaska during some of the coldest months of the year (think -20ºF and colder). So, when the folks at Gold Bond reached out and offered this opportunity to try out the suite of products in the Radiance Renewal line, it was the perfect timing!
Among other things, I am passionate about skin care products—particularly non-greasy moisturizers that go above and beyond. Do these moisturizers live up to the promise? Let’s dive into the Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Review!
These are the three products I am reviewing:
- Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Oil-Infused Cream
- Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Lotion
- Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Whipped Shea Butter
Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Oil-Infused Cream
First Impression
I think of cream as thick, sometimes greasy moisturizers that are destined for tubes. So, I was intrigued to see how easy it would be to get the Radiance Renewal Oil-Infused cream out of the press-top cover. Spoiler alert! It was a breeze.
The consistency was surprisingly more lightweight than I expected, leaning towards that of a lotion. I mistakenly squeezed out more product than I needed because I anticipated needing more pressure to get the cream out of the bottle.
The next step was where the Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Oil-Infused Cream won my heart. I rubbed my palms together and then on my skin. The result: intensely hydrating, ash-banishing, and non-greasy!
Benefits
Non-Greasy

My thoughts and recommendation
You bet I’ll be using this cream in Alaska! I recommend using it right about getting out of the shower on wet or pre-dampened skin. This Radiance Renewal cream would be a great choice for those with dry, ashy skin.
Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Lotion
First Impression
My first impression of Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Lotion was everything I expected in a lotion. The consistency of the lotion matched my knowledge about lotions. The thickness was similar to the Radiance Renewal Oil-Infused Cream or slightly lighter.
Ah! The lovely smell of the blend of coconut oil, cocoa butter, and African shea butter made me a little nostalgic about my childhood. Once absorbed, the lotion leaves a light scent in its wake.
Benefits

Nourishes
Gentle exfoliation
Non-greasy

My thoughts and recommendation
I love that this lotion has gentle exfoliants while still serving a full cup of moisturization for people like me. The Radiance Renewal Lotion would be my first pick during the summer and for winter bedtime hydration to prevent flaking. For those with oily skin, this lotion is a great choice all year round.
Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Whipped Shea Butter
First Impression
I’ve had some experience with whipped skin care products, which made me even more stoked to see what the Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Whipped Shea Butter had to offer.
Although the body butter is visibly thicker than the cream, the lightweight whipped butter formula felt non-greasy on my skin.
Benefits
Fast absorption
Exfoliates & nourishes
Non-greasy
24-hour moisturization
Contains vitamins
Key Ingredients
Coconut Oil
Cocoa Butter
Almond Oil
7 moisturizers
3 vitamins
How to use
All-over body use. Apply liberally to skin as often as needed. Reapply to increase level of moisturization.
My thoughts and recommendation
If I’m allowed to be biased, I will tell you that out of all three Radiance Renewal moisturizers—I’ve used the Whipped Shea Butter the most. Gone are the days when I would apply a jelly-type moisturizer followed by a towel wipe of my skin to reduce greasiness.
And yes, this moisturizing body butter is coming with me to Alaska. I highly recommend the Whipped Shea Butter for those with very dry and ashy skin. It is that good!

I always thought that creams and lotions were the same thing used interchangeably until I got into pharmacy school. In simple terms, creams are a thicker consistency than lotions and provide a barrier that keeps your skin hydrated.
And body butter is pretty much body cream on steroids when used on wet skin.
Gold Bond has a few skin care lines geared towards different skin care needs, including the Healing, Restoring, Neck & Chest, and Men’s collections. While I have not tried those yet, I can say that the Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal collection lives up to its name.
The Radiance Renewal trio can be used individually or together. My current routine involves using the Gold Bold Ultimate Radiance Renewal Whipped Shea Butter in the morning on damp skin. I need all the hydration and vitamins I can get (it has vitamin c!).
In Alaska, I plan on using the Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Hydrating Lotion before bed at least for the first two weeks to take advantage of the hydrating effects and gentle exfoliants. And if I run out, all three Radiance Renewal moisturizers are available at Walgreens 😀
I hope you found this Gold Bond Ultimate® Radiance Renewal® review helpful. Again, you can save now on Gold Bond® products by using this coupon. And as always, thank you for stopping by.
