This just means that I can give my work pants a break while rocking comfortable loungewear pieces. Couple that with the recent heatwave we just had, and I have 1001 reasons to be happy at home.

But this is not an excuse to be frumpy. You can still remain nicely put together in comfortable pieces that you’ll be happy to wear outside the house.

Today, I’m partnering with Nordstrom to share stylish loungewear you can wear outside the house. It’s easy to want all-the-things from Nordstrom (and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale) makes that temptation greater. Gone are the days when you had to pick between “house clothes” and “going out clothes.” Athleisure clothes serve more than one purpose (workout/street style) and the same thing applies to loungewear.

Just so we are on the same page, loungewear here refers to comfortable clothes that you can wear at home and still casual enough to be worn outside the house. Soft, cozy loungewear that is stylish, can easily be worn working at home and to run errands without looking like you just rolled out of bed.

Nordstrom Made Brands, particularly, Halogen, Leith, Treasure & Bond, Chelsea28, Zella, and BP. are great examples of loungewear brands that make stylish yet comfortable loungewear pieces and loungewear sets.

You can easily mix and match short sets to your needs. This floral joggers and top set I am wearing are comfortable, stylish, and super comfortable. It is lightweight but the fabric is not see-through or flimsy.

If you’re not into the matchy-matchy outfit trend, you could style each loungewear piece with something you have in your wardrobe.

Since it’s been a super warm summer, I opted to pair the sweatpants with this BP. lace trim camisole. The silky soft satin fabric is a nice juxtaposition to the thicker fabric of the joggers. I kept the loungewear to streetstyle look simple with a pair of timeless loafers (these flats are included in this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale).

The cozy loungewear top is the same fabric as the joggers. It runs large so size down for a better fit. For the second lounge to street outfit combination, a pair of leggings was a quick and obvious choice. And for shoes, comfy yet stylish wedge bootie (these sell out every time) added a slight edge to the ensemble.

Now how is this for comfy loungewear you can wear outside the house that is stylish.

Washed out sweatpants and 5-year old tees should be left in the past. And stylish loungewear pieces have become commonplace. There is no better way to inject your personality into your daily life than through the clothes you wear.

Thankfully, affordable luxury brands like Zella, Halogen, Leith, BP, Treasure & Bond, and Chelsea28, all available at Nordstrom, make this easier.
