Switching things up with a taupe trench coat and quilted riding boots this season!
Shop The Look
Sometimes, I feel as though 2017 is moving too fast. It is hard to believe that today is the last day of February. It has been a hot minute since my last outfit post so I figured a new look is well overdue.
The weather has warmed up from subzero degree temperatures. I keep seeing so many beautiful outfits on social media. When it comes to spring and summer wear, Alaska is always late to the party. On the positive side, we are getting more daylight which is incredible.
In a few months, it will be full-fledged tourist season. If you are planning a cold weather trip, definitely check out my Alaska travel guide. For those coming from warmer climates, March through April in Alaska can sometimes feel a little too cold for comfort. There is so much to see and do in Alaska. The almost 18 hours of daylight becomes a natural adrenaline rush. I know the world has not come to an end when I see new faces in town.
For this look, I chose a light winter outfit. Despite the heap of snow, it was a warm winter day and a great time to shoot. I wore a pair of lightweight winter gloves which I paired with an infinity scarf. This uber chic double-breasted trench coat was literally all the layering I needed.
I brought the entire look to life with this amazing pair of quilted ShoeDazzle riding boots that only costs $39! The first time I saw the boots, I second guessed myself and by the time I made up my mind, it was sold out. Luckily the style was in high demand that ShoeDazzle decided to restock it. I highly recommend them. It is also available in black, dark brown, and navy blue. As always, thank you for stopping by.
I am wearing:
