Little Black Dress + Studded Heels

Happy FriYay! Fridays are probably my favorite day of the work week. After a long week, you can finally take some time to relax. Or maybe you’re thinking about what to wear for a special event you were invited to. In that case, you’d like this little black dress.
Shop The Look
With wedding season and special events ramping up this time of the year, I decided to style this chic little black dress look (here). I love ruffles and they happen to be hot this season. A fun way to rock this style is by keeping everything else to the minimum. For me, it meant going for a pair of black strappy heels and no jewelry. For a little color, I added a statement animal print clutch.
This dress fits like a dream! The scuba fabric makes the ruffle sleeve keep their shape so they don’t fall flat (like a piece of paper). If you have your summer fully booked and need a little black dress that you can wear over and over again for special occasions or work, this dress checks that requirement and more.
With so much awesomeness on the sleeves, you can actually restyle this midi dress as a top. I love repurposing pieces in my wardrobe and this is one of those items that can be worn in so many different ways.
Keep your look simple like I did with minimal jewelry, matching black heels, and a touch of color with an animal print leather clutch. You can also spruce up your look with colorful heels, jewelry accents (think arm candy and statement earrings), and an embellished purse and get ready to steal the show.
