Back again with another blogger collaboration with a twist. Jho and I decided to go for a “one piece, two ways” theme. The idea behind our theme was to style one piece of clothing worn in two different ways for summer.

Technology is simply amazing! This blogger collaboration will take you all the way from The Last Frontier, Alaska to the beautiful island of Antigua. Jho, the damsel behind Olive Needs Popeye is a fashion and lifestyle blogger based out of the Caribbean island of Antigua. In the spirit of summer, we decided to go for a sweet summer look.
For Jho’s look, she went for a sweet summer look by incorporating a bright-colored fringe shorts with an off-shoulder top. She completed her look with a pair of sneakers to add some fun to her attire. For Jho’s second outfit, she restyled the off-shoulder top with a pair of black joggers and leggings. She finished off her look with a cute hat, round sunglasses and a pair of comfortable wedge sneakers. You can also find Jho on Twitter and Instagram.
Summer is the perfect time to wear bodycon dresses especially when you don’t want to think too much about what to wear while still looking put together. So for my look, I went for a bodycon dress. The first look focused on playing with solid colors. I paired the heather grey bodycon dress with a chic pair of Zara bow kitten heels. Spruced up the look with a quilted structured purse and an on-trend choker necklace that only cost me $4!

Then I defined my waist with my go-to metallic bow belt. I have a thing for bow 🙂 For take two, I went all out with colors and floral (you already my love for colors). This time, I chose to re-purpose the bodycon dress by styling it underneath a peplum floral top. Fringe, floral prints, and off-shoulder clothing are styles that are hot this summer. Hope you liked our fun summer inspirational looks of having one theme with two different interpretations. Your turn, what styles have you been rocking lately? Drop a comment below.

You ladies are looking lovely.

Thank you Elle 🙂
I love seeing how versatile some pieces can be.
Very true. Some pieces can be worn in many different ways.
Jho’s top is so cute, I love how you switched it up for a summery outfit in the second look. Your grey dress is lovely, I love the simplicity of it, I would have loved to see it styled with sneakers but I love how you switched it up by wearing a peplum top over it in the second look. Stunning photography as well hun.

Oh thanks Sarah. So sweet of you. I styled a similar bodycon dress with sneakers previously in this post. So I chose to do a different look for this collab.
These are gorgeous! I love these looks.
Thank you Natasha!
You have such great style! I love that grey dress with the gold belt!

Thank you Greta 🙂
All these looks are so cute! I think I like the simple, sophisticated style the best.
Thank you Crystal 🙂
Super cute and I love seeing different takes on a look!
Thanks Joules!
Great post! I think my favorite look is the grey dress with that gold belt! It is such a fun pop of personality! Have an amazing Monday!
Thanks Victoria! So kind of you.
This has to be one of the most fun things I’ve done as a blogger. Your blogger collab idea is so great, keep going especially because it encourages shy bloggers (like me) to step up and meet new bloggers. I just love how you re-purposed your dress for the second look and I need that gold belt! Don’t be a stranger. 😉
