Alaskans and adventure travelers love their Sperry saltwater duck boots. Heck, it’s even one of my top shoe recommendations Alaska travel. But if you’ve ever wondered how to style these chic boots, here’s a quick and easy Sperry duck boots outfit for you! π

While searching for comfortable, versatile, and stylish pieces to add to my winter wardrobe, I decided that these duck boots would, in fact, be an amazing investment. You can wear these Saltwater boots all year round.
Plus the waterproof feature means that your toes would be dry no matter the terrain you find yourself in. For me, it’s usually transitional seasons in Alaska and New Jersey.
It was a little difficult deciding which color to get in the Sperry duck boot. While a classic black color might be best suited for working-class folks with commute in inclement weather, I ultimately settled on this Tan/Navy combination. Hey, it’s hard to ignore the vibrant heels.
Both boots are a whopping 40% off on Nordstrom right now! They are lightweight, waterproof, versatile, and timeless. And they run true to size. Get it while you can.
Product Alert: Check out these Sperry Duck boot options. My exact pair is currently on sale on Nordstrom (40% off!)
For reference, I am 5β³5 and weigh roughly 135 lbs. I typically wear a size 4 (XS or S) in clothes and 8.5/9 in shoes.
Sperry Duck Boots Review
I am wearing this Sperry duck boot in a size 9 in the tan/navy combination color and it runs true to size. Although I initially wanted to get the black color from Nordstrom (also on sale) the vibrant multi-color option called my name.
The footbed gives you good traction which makes these duck boots an attractive choice for adventurers and slippery condition (I recommend wearing a pair of cleats in freezing ice conditions).
You’d be surprised to learn that these boots have ample insole space. I wore mine with these buttery soft Nordstrom socks and did not feel like an overly stuffed bear. It’s no wonder why this Sperry duck boot gets raving reviews online.

How to Style Your Duck Boots
What’s even more important than having these top-rated boots is the ability to style them with pieces you already own.
My everyday pants are either my Betabrand yoga dress pants, cozy leggings, or comfortable jeans. For this look, I decided to wear my Zella live in high waist leggings (detailed Zella leggings review here).
Another recent Nordstrom find is this Thread and Supply pullover (35% off sale). I’m always on the lookout for pieces that have the triple C treat (cozy, comfy, and chic).
And this Seven Wonders fleece pullover is everything and then some. Like the product description, you’ll seriously feel like you’re wrapped in a fluffy cloud. I’m rocking the latte color but you can scoop one up in blush or frosted sage (runs true to size – wearing a size small).
You know this Sperry duck boots outfit would be incomplete without layering with chunky socks, stylish sunnies (under $20), and a stackable necklace.
Other ways to wear your duck boots include:
- Sperry duck boot with a dress paired with a scarf, blanket scarf, and even a pair of tights and winter coat for warmth.
- Oversized sweater with skinny leg jeans, chunky socks, duck boots, and raincoat.
- Style Saltwater boots with a skirt (or mini skirt) paired with tight, cozy socks, fitted sweater, and sleeveless (plaid) vest.
- And take the athleisure route with yoga pants or leggings, cotton socks, lightweight sweater or tee layered with a plaid button-down shirt.
I am wearing:
Butter Socks | Waterproof Rain Boots (40% off)| Layered Necklace (set of 3) | Cat Eye Sunglasses (under $20) | High Waist Leggings (my honest review) | Fleece Pullover (35% off)

Super cute and cozy outfit.
Thanks, Amy π
They are such cute boots on you! They look so cosy, so does your outfit, and so comfortable! It’s not something we need here, it never snows, but they always look nice when I see them on other bloggers! π
Hope that you are having a lovely weekend π
You’re too kind! Thanks, Mica. I’m glad you like the Sperry duck boots (probably as much as I do). Because it’s waterproof, the boots are great to wear on rainy days too ?
