I first tried Colleen Rothschild products a few years ago. Taking packaging and all aspects into consideration, I was impressed. However, like many skincare products, the real test came with the quality of ingredients and promised results.

Colleen Rothschild skincare products have grown in popularity in the last few years. Colleen, the woman behind the brand, has the smoothest skin I have seen for a woman her age. I have met her in person last year sans the photoshop and airbrushing that we see in the media.

As always, these are my personal thoughts and opinions on some of the best-selling Colleen Rothschild skincare products to help you decide whether these products are worth the investment and deserving of your hard-earned money.

1. Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum

Mandelic acid is not something I remember hearing in chemistry lectures or in pharmacy school. Notwithstanding, this product is on the list of current Colleen Rothschild best sellers. So what does this CR product actually do?

A serum that deals with a lackluster complexion, the Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum is a regular treatment serum that redefines your skin.

This ultra-lightweight serum is saddled with the task of unclogging pores, repairing skin texture, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, clearing uneven skin tone, while leaving the skin radiant and beautiful. Now that’s a very lofty promise for a small 30 ml bottle.

Colleen Rothschild’s Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum is specially formulated with naturally occurring Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds. This ingredient promotes skin cell turnover and gentle but effective skin exfoliation, leaving skin looking soft and fresh.

The Mandelic Acid Serum also contains Salicylic Acid, Lactic Milk, and Vitamin C that exfoliate the skin, hydrate, revitalizes, improves skin tone and texture, and brightens the skin. From my personal experience, I loved the lightweight, non-oily formula, and my skin did not break out. The soft fragrance did not bother me.

As expected, this product is paraben-free, alcohol-free, silicone-free, and sulfate-free. This is a serum that is very gentle on the skin, penetrating deeply without causing irritation, redness, or itchiness, unlike some AHA based products, making it very good for susceptible skin types.

Another fan favorite is the Colleen Rothschild Intense Hydrating Mask. If you’ve seen CR ads, chances are one of the ads a feature of this mask. And it comes as no surprise that this product is also one of the best-selling products on Colleen Rothschild’s website. This holy grail of skincare mask hydrates even the driest of skins and helps fight skin fatigue.

I use this product when my skin needs a break. Even with my combination-oily skin, I do not break out when I use this hydrating mask. The Intense Hydrating Mask is excellent for overnight protection when your skin needs some TLC. If you have dry skin, this product is worth trying.

With a decent price tag of $45, this product won’t break the bank. The mask is complete with active ingredients including Hyaluronic acid, Coral Grass, and Micro-Algae believed to make your skin feel hydrated and plumped.

3. Radiant Cleansing Balm

Also part of this Colleen Rothschild review is the Radiant Cleansing Balm. Hailed as one of the company’s bestsellers of all time with a whopping five-star rating, the Radiant Cleansing Balm is the best friend you never knew you needed.

The balm contains vital ingredients such as Moringa Oil that restores luminosity, Lipexel that deal with dehydration. Black Seed Oil, an antioxidant and Aromatic sophisticated calm and decongest your skin.

Inside the box, you get the balm and a sizeable cotton muslin cloth. After applying the balm to dry skin, you wet the muslin cloth and use it to wipe the balm off your face. For me, this felt like bringing a professional spa treatment home. Luxury indeed!
