If you’re a natural hair sister, you sometimes struggle with taking out your protective hairstyle so your hair can get a break. I know that feeling! And working in healthcare has been anything but easy these last several months.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO SAVE THIS?
Haha, I finally decided enough was enough and let out my coily hair. But whipping it back to shape after weeks months of neglect was no easy feat. It also did not help that I kept applying hair lotion to my hair thinking it was my conditioner.
Imagine how tiring it was trying to get rid of knots and kinks. And even with the conditioner, the knots did not magically disappear. It took patience, and emm… elbow grease. I wished I had something better!
Well, enter Emerge hair care products!
I recently heard about emerge products for natural hair sisters. Honestly, a part of me was doubtful and the other half stayed hopeful.
Actually, emerge hair care was made specifically for curls, coils, and kinks! Are you with me?
This new brand of 100% vegan hair care products for naturalistas is infused with almond milk and pequi oil to keep curls and coils moisturized and defined.
The three products I immediately picked from the natural hair aisle were:
- emerge It’s Knot Happening Sulfate-Free Shampoo
- emerge The Works Butter Cream
- emerge Glow Off Oil Serum
Although these were the products I decided to start with, there are many more hair care product offerings. The sulfate-free shampoo was an obvious pick to help with the process of detangling knots.
And emerge The Works Butter Cream was a heck yeah because my 4C natural hair needs all the softness and curl definition it can get. And the Glow Off Oil Serum needs no explanation.
Simply put the less time I spend caring for my hair, the more time I have focusing on other important life moments (spending time with family, caring for my patients…).
emerge It’s Knot Happening Sulfate-Free Shampoo
