I still remember my very first visit to the US. I was in high school at the time. According to my classmates who were “well-traveled,” Old Navy was the place to shop at. Ah, my poor mom!

I do not remember if the jeans was a pair of Old Navy Rockstar jeans. But I do know that I wore those bad boys out! We did not have any Old Navy stores in my college town and transportation out of town was a challenge.
I also discovered some amazing online retailers during that time so, Old Navy was the last on my mind.
Old Navy Rockstar Jeans Review
After graduation, I moved to Fairbanks, Alaska. And I realized that we have an actual Old Navy store. And I fell in love with Old Navy Rockstar jeans once again (I guess!) when she showed me her affordable purchases and scores from Old Navy.
I desperately needed a pair of jeans that fit. So, I made a trip to Old Navy to try on a few pairs of jeans. I tried on a few of their Rockstar jeans, and the mid-rise skinny stretch jeans were my jam. Mind you, this was in 2015.
About two weeks ago, I realized that I’ve had this pair of Rockstar jeans on rotation for the past few years. It seriously hasn’t lost its appeal. As they say, “the older the wine, the sweeter the taste.”
I bet the same can be said of this jeans and the other Old Navy jeans I own till this day. You’ve probably read about it, Old Navy Rockstar Jeans reviews are true. Amazing jeans, amazing price!
If you’re wondering what styles are available for Old Navy Rockstar denim, here are your options:
Types of Old Navy Rockstar Jeans
Old Navy Rockstar Mid-Rise Skinny Jeans
I could not find the exact measurements of how high these jeans go. But as a rule of thumb, mid-rise jeans usually measure between eight to twelve inches above the waistline. The jeans fall around your belly button (Leaf).
Mid-rise jeans are my jam! They provide the perfect coverage for the bottoms without putting too much pressure on my midsection. This style of jeans is easy to wear because they don’t add bulk to your figure like high-rise jeans when styled under a shirt.
Pictured in this outfit is my favorite pair of Old Navy Rockstar mid-rise jeans. As previously mentioned, I’ve had this jeans since 2015, and it looks almost as good as when I first bought it.
The jeans has maintained its structure and has not gotten loose on the knee or waist. It has also survived many washes without shrinking 🙂
As would be expected, this pair of jeans I’m wearing has long sold out. But here are some of my favorite and top-rated Old Navy mid-rise Rockstar jeans:

Old Navy Rockstar High-Waisted Skinny Jeans
According to Leaf, jeans with a rise higher than 12 inches are termed “high-rise jeans.” These jeans sit above your belly button and provide optimum coverage of your derriere. High-rise jeans are less desirable on those without curves because they create an impression of a straighter figure.
I’ll admit that I own a few high-waisted jeans that I wear as a last resort. I like these high-rise jeans because I do not have to worry about pulling them up when I bend or squat. My only other gripe with them is that sometimes, after a big meal, I find them uncomfortable as they pierce into my abdomen.
In today’s age and time, society is obsessed with curves. Unless you have a big bottom and desire these style of jeans to cover your asset, mid-rise and low-rise jeans are generally more flattering.

Old Navy Rockstar Low-Rise Skinny Jeans
Last and definitely not the least are low-rise skinny jeans. For reference, low-rise jeans typically measure between five and eight inches and sit low on or just below the hips.
Also known as low-cut jeans and low-riders, these style of jeans tend to be more comfortable for those people who do not like the feel of (mid-rise/high-rise) jeans on the abdomen.
Although low-cut jeans are not my personal favorite, I see why some people might prefer this style of jeans. They create a shorter frame and are less bothersome on the stomach than mid-rise and high-rise jeans.

DRESSED UP CASUAL GREY SWEATER OUTFIT
With how quickly the temperature has been dropping, fall in Alaska is already here. We’ve had three weeks of almost non-stop rain. I was able to sneak in this look during one of the days that we got a breather.
I thought it would be fun to put this sweater outfit together paired with a lightweight puffer (similar). Puffy vests are not the most fashionable pieces to style, so it is important to nail your outfit proportions.
My Old Navy jeans (similar) is a darker shade of gray, which is a good contrast from the lighter shade of the ruffle sweater. I added texture to this look with the ribbed detail of the sweater, quilted vest and the leather and suede mix of the kitten heels.
What do you think about this dressed up casual grey sweater outfit? Also, have you tried Old Navy Rockstar jeans? Would love to know your thoughts/experience in the comment section below.
I am wearing:

Gray ruffle sweater (similar)
